obedience class may 21

This was the first obedience class...it was in the morning and was a beautiful day. There was also a evening class, but unfortunately I did not get pictures as we were very busy...but will next week.
We had a wide variety of dog breeds and ages....from 4 months to almost two years old. This week we focused on learning some of the basics...settle, down, sit, loose leash, and responding to their name when called.. It was great to see whole families partcipating together. The dogs were in a new environment and also around lots of dogs they did not know. All the dogs did well and you could see them all calming down as they got to work. I teach positive reinforcement training and the dogs responded really well to it. Now they all need to practise , pratise and pratise . I can't wait to see all the dogs and their owners next week to see the progress they have made.
